Product Description
Air freight DDP service for Thanksgiving and fall decorations — covering autumn wreaths, table decor, and harvest-themed pieces. The 7 to 12 day door-to-door window keeps best-selling SKUs available for restock and launch. We handle supplier pickup, export declaration, air uplift, US import clearance, duty and tax settlement, and UPS final-mile delivery — compressing wreaths and packing decor against crushing so the seller keeps one landed cost and no customs work.
What "Double Clearance, Tax Included" Means
What do "double clearance" and "tax included" actually cover in a China to USA air freight DDP duty paid shipment?
Double clearance means two customs events handled end to end: export declaration in China plus import clearance in the United States. Tax included means we advance and settle all applicable US import duties and taxes as importer of record. In one flat rate, that is three bundled actions: export declaration, import clearance, and duty payment.
The quote behaves as a single landed cost with no customs follow-up owed by the consignee.
One-Stop Door-to-Door: Export, Import, Duty, Delivery
What does a genuine one-stop door-to-door air freight service include?
Scope runs from the supplier factory gate to the consignee door: pickup and packing check, air uplift from a Chinese gateway, export declaration, US import clearance, duty and tax settlement under our customs bond, airport handling, and UPS final-mile delivery. That replaces the four to six vendors an importer normally coordinates, and every stage is tracked under one reference number.
A single accountable partner owns the whole chain, so the importer receives one closed invoice instead of a stack of hand-off documents.
Transit Time and Cost Structure
How long does door-to-door air express take, and how is the price built?
The reference door-to-door window is 7 to 12 days, with UPS delivery in 2 to 4 business days after clearance and 3 to 6 business days for remote ZIP codes. Pricing is charged on the greater of actual or volumetric weight, typically USD 6.5 to 9.5 per kilogram all-in DDP depending on commodity, season, and delivery zone. Because duty and import tax sit inside the rate, the price behaves like a landed cost.
For time-sensitive cargo, the air premium is predictable and — once landed cost is counted — narrower than it first appears against slower modes.
Carrier Conditions for Thanksgiving and Fall Decorations
What is checked before Thanksgiving and fall decorations fly during peak season?
Ornaments in glass and ceramic need dividers and drop-tested cartons; string lights and illuminated decor carry electrical adapters; and battery-operated decorations follow PI967 for built-in cells. Seasonal SKUs peak hard, so space is confirmed early and compressible decor is packed to control volumetric weight.
Fragile-safe packing and early space booking are what keep Thanksgiving and fall decorations on the shelf before the season turns.
Documents for Thanksgiving and Fall Decorations
What documentation does this category need?
The commercial invoice, packing list, and air waybill — plus a material safety data sheet and UN38.3 summary for illuminated or battery items, and a fragile-packing statement where needed. Customs entry and ISF are filed by us as importer of record.
Complete documents let peak-season Thanksgiving and fall decorations clear without a hold that costs a whole selling window.
Amazon FBA Delivery for Thanksgiving and Fall Decorations
How do seasonal decorations reach an FBA centre?
Cartons are labelled to the FBA shipment plan and delivered to the assigned FC. UPS caps a package near 150 pounds (68 kg), 108 inches in length, and 165 inches in length plus girth. Fragile items are marked and palletised where the volume is large.
Prepped, labelled seasonal cartons are accepted first time, which matters most when capacity is tight.
Product Focus: Thanksgiving and Fall Decorations
How are wreaths shipped?
Wreaths compress into shallow cartons, branches are secured, and decor pieces are stacked so shapes hold through transit.
Controlled packing keeps fall decor shapes intact from gateway to shelf.
Packing and Handling Standards
How are the goods packed for air freight and final delivery?
Packing is tuned to the commodity and the journey: export-grade cartons or pallets, corner and edge protection, shock and moisture control, and clear handling marks. Every carton is weighed and dimensioned at pickup, so the booked rate, the aircraft selection, and the final-mile service match the actual shipment rather than an estimate.
Correct packing at origin protects the cargo, avoids airline acceptance holds, and prevents an oversize or overweight surprise after the quote is approved.
What the Consignee Prepares: Almost Nothing
What paperwork or action does the receiving company have to handle?
Beyond a correct delivery address and a contact, nothing. The consignee does not file a customs entry, does not appoint a broker, does not post a bond, and does not pay duty at the door. We assemble the commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill, and entry documents.
You provide an address; we provide a confirmed, duty-paid, tracked delivery to it.
Customs Clearance, Inspection and Hold Handling
What happens if US customs selects the shipment for inspection?
Inspections are a normal part of importing and are covered by this service. Examinations are managed by our US team, and we absorb the standard coordination cost so the importer receives no extra examination invoice. A pre-submission review checks classification, valuation, and the category-specific compliance point before filing, which keeps our examination rate below the general average for the commodities we move.
An inspection can add a day or two but never becomes the consignee's problem.
The Door-to-Door DDP Process, Node by Node
- 1Origin consolidation. We collect from your supplier, check packing, and consolidate cartons or pallets at the Chinese gateway.
- 2Export declaration. We file the export customs declaration and release the cargo for uplift.
- 3Air main leg. The shipment flies on confirmed space from a Chinese gateway to the US entry airport.
- 4US import clearance. Our licensed broker files the entry and ISF, classifies the goods, and releases them from customs.
- 5Duty and tax settlement. We pay all applicable duties and import taxes as importer of record under our customs bond.
- 6UPS pickup. The cleared freight is tendered to UPS and scanned into the domestic network.
- 7Delivery and signature. UPS completes the final mile and captures proof of delivery.
Booking, Documentation and Payment
What information do you need to quote and book, and how is payment handled?
A quote requires the product description, HS context where known, gross weight, dimensions, declared value, and the exact delivery address. Documentation is prepared by our team and includes the commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill, and entry papers. Payment is accepted by T/T, PayPal, Western Union, or Bank Transfer.
Booking becomes a single exchange of facts, after which the importer input stops until a tracked delivery is confirmed at the destination door.
Tracking and Proof of Delivery
How is the shipment tracked and closed?
One reference number follows the cargo from supplier pickup to the signed delivery. Positions update at gateway handover, uplift, US clearance, UPS tender, and final delivery, and the proof-of-delivery record closes the file with the duty already paid.
A single tracked reference and a stored proof of delivery make the landed shipment fully auditable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is duty really included?
Yes. The quoted DDP air freight rate includes duty and import tax; the number you approve is the number you pay for the delivery described.
Do I need a US company or customs bond?
No. We clear as importer of record under our own customs bond, so a foreign seller or a consignee without a US entity can import without extra setup.
Can you deliver to Amazon FBA?
Yes, across all 50 states, with appointment and labelling rules followed where the facility requires them.
Can wreaths and garlands share cartons?
Yes, when packed to avoid crushing each other.
